If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

IMPORTANT:

Open-Top Buses do not operate on July 4, the date of the Marine Corps Marathon in October, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day. This tour may not be available other days, or schedule of departures may be changed due to road closures or special events in Washington.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair accessibility may be arranged by booking your tour at least 72 hours in advance. A toll-free phone number will be provided on your E-Ticket for you to call at least 48 hours before your tour date to make specific accessibility arrangements.

Among the benefits that may be available for such large bookings is complimentary hotel pickup. Please do NOT place an online order for more than 20 persons.

Hop-on-Hop-off privileges are valid for two consecutive days.

The Tour

The Open-Top Bus Tour features entertaining and informative narration. If you choose to ride the entire loop, the tour lasts approximately two and one half hours. If you're new to Washington, one option to consider is to ride the entire loop to get a good feel for what you will want to go back and visit as you hop-off and hop-on at various stops on the loop.

In a full day on the Open Top Bus, you can make approximately 5-6 stops to visit many, but not all, of the following attractions: Union Station, US Capitol, ESPN Zone, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Chinatown, Spy Museum, Ford's Theatre, Hard Rock Cafe, White House (Photo Stop), Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korean Memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, Washington Harbour, Georgetown, Embassy Row, Washington National Cathedral, National Zoo, National Aquarium, DC Visitor's Center, Washington Monument, Holocaust Museum, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, World War II Memorial, FDR Memorial, Mall Area, National Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art.

Some federal facilities are closed on weekends and holidays; some require timed tickets resulting in extended waiting in line for tours. No timed tickets are included in the tour price.
